Linear Algebra is an essential course for two reasons:
This class will be taught on a "flipped classroom" model, meaning that lecture videos will be assigned for viewing at home, and problem sets will be done collaboratively with peers in class.
We will be using Mastery-Based grading for all exams. No exam receives a grade; instead you have opportunities to demonstrate mastery of each topic on every test. There is no partial credit; instead, you get multiple attempts until you have fully mastered a topic. Once you have mastered a topic, it is checked off in the gradebook, and you do not have to repeat it. The final exam grade will be the percentage of topics mastered.
Most class business will be managed on the Canvas site.
