In this course, students develop problem-solving skills, computational proficiency, and conceptual fluency through limits, derivatives, and integrals of functions of one variable (algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric), together with applications. Topics include limits and continuity, differentiation and rates of change, optimization, curve sketching, and an introduction to integration and area. This is a General Education course and satisfies the Gordon Rule computational requirement.

Most course business will be handled on the Canvas site. The course is organized into modules by lecture date; unless otherwise specified, each module opens at 7:00 am on the day of the corresponding lecture.
